Does Sharpe Products only bend steel, stainless steel, and aluminum? No, Sharpe Products does not only bend steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. These three materials are the most commonly used by our customers. We also have experience with materials such as brass, bronze, copper, nickel, and titanium.
Why is it more expensive for smaller quantity runs? Sharpe Products is happy to accomodate any size run. All jobs require set-up labor. It is generally more expensive to run smaller jobs because when you divide the cost of the set-up among small quantities it is more costly than dividing it among a larger quantity run. Stock and release programs can also save on set-up charges and lead times. Contact a Sharpe representative for more information on these programs.
How should I submit a drawing of my part? When submitting a drawing of your part, some important information that we need is the type of material (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.), diameter, wall thickness, and the preferred center line radius. It is also helpful to give the dimensions in XYZ coordinates. Sharpe Products can accept the following formats for drawings: .PDF, .DWG, .DXF, .TIF, .EPS, and Solidworks files. If you have any questions or problems sending us your file, please feel free to contact us at 800-879-4418 or email us at sales@sharpeproducts.com.
